For the bottom pivot is it ok to cut the gasket (inside portion) to fit it to the frame? I assume the upper pivot rivet is the one that needs to be drilled out and replaced?

The pics show two straight pieces of rubber. I am looking for the rubber that surrounds the wing assembly and seals it to the door.

It appears from studying my wing windows, that to R&R this seal, one must drill out the rivet in the hinge. Is this the case? And if so, do you supply the rivet?
