Is this cluster gear USA or INDIA made I won’t touch anything made in china as their fits and tolerances are terrible thank you

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
These are not made in China. Please give us a call and we can help answer your question.

Hello Mike, what is the overall length of the Countershaft Cluster Gear . I may have to machine (smooth out) the 33-teeth front side because of thrust washer pitting. I also noticed that the 14-teeth gear has no notches to hold the thrust washer. Thank you.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
7"

are the internal shaft diameters of the cluster gear constant throughout all applications of the t 90 transmission my box is from a c j 2 and i need a new cluster gear set many thanks for any info.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
This is the one for your CJ-2A. Some later T90's used 643702 but its rare.

Does this come with the bearing spacer sleeve?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
That is a separate item. This is for the cluster gear only.

i have a 54 cj3a and have all of the other parts for my trans. Exept for the clutch hub, can I get this part without buying the entire kit?.

If I can't go into first or reverse, but can go into second and third, is this the part I need or should I check the fork too?

Willys Tech:
You may want to check your reverse idler gear as well as your sychronizer.

Transmission in 51 CJ3A had been working fine, then without warning I can't shift from 1st to 2nd gear. I can still shift into 1st and reverse. Any ideas what the problem may be?

Willys Tech:
It is probably worn gears or shift fork. I would take off your top shifter and inspect the teeth.

will the 35 tooth work in a 33 tooth tranny and just raise the gear ratio alittle?

Willys Tech:
It should but I doubt youll get much difference going down the road.

is this cluster gear for a t90a or a t90c or is it available in both?

Willys Tech:
This is proper for both.
