They come in different primer colors, but it is just a primer coat to prevent rusting until it gets an official primer applied after purchase.

Can this seat be fitted in a cj3a?

I had read somewhere that you can fit this seat in a CJ2A. Is this true, and if so what else will I need to make it happen (starting with a blank canvas)? Thanks.

It will fit inside the wheel wells yes - but I would just use the CJ-2A rear seat frame we sell if you have a CJ-2A.
