I have three lower generator brackets all measure 5 1/2 long The generators mounted to them are not OEM but later model 6 volt generators. I have an OEM MB generator and the 5 1/2 bracket is about an inch short Are your brackets at least 6 1/2'' long or close to that? Thanks

I have a 1949 Jeepster with the original 6v generator. Will this bracket work? The previous owner switched to an alternator an threw out all the hardware.
