Questions: it is indicated that the cross-member fits a CJ-6, but only up to 71. Was something different in 1972? That is my year, and this looks "almost" identical. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

We have not fit this up past 1971 but they probably would work thru 1975.

You could weld them on. I do believe originally they were bolted / riveted.

Questions: Do you have the early CJ2A cross member? I have an early CJ2A with an MB frame so the the crossmember mounts are just like the MB ones so the crossmember should bolt to the sides of the mounts and to the bottom of the frame.

This crossmember - A5127 - is for the MB, GPW. Take a look at it and see if this is what you're looking for. Thanks

Early CJ-2A's used a little different attachment to the frame. This one will work just fine it just needs to be drilled.

Please check out our shop by diagram section. We have a D18 transfercase diagram there. Its dual stick but they are basically the same.

Questions: Will this fit a 45 gpw and does it sit lower. I have a t90 in my gpw and the floor has been cut to make it fit. I am trying to avoid cutting when I replace the floor. If not what are my options.

If you have a T90 then you should be ok. You will have to drill it out though....

Yes that is corect Im sure it can be used. But if you have a MB I would still use part number: A5127.

That is an unoriginal transmission. I would go with this one and you may have to modify.
