Questions: I have a 47 willy's CJ2A that I replaced the hard lines from the fuel tank to the pump and carburetor with 1/4 fuel hose. I did this after removing the gas tank and having it cleaned due to being rusted and causing clogged up line problems. Is the fuel hose O.K. to use or will it suck together when gas is being pumped to the carb? I'm still having problems with it not getting enough gas to the pump and don't know if it's still a clogged up issue or if the fuel hose is sucking together.
Question By: Dale on Jan 21 2015 12:00 AM
Fuel hose is usually fine. It is designed typically to be trouble free and not do that.
