Questions: So this kit will work on a 1952 M38-A1 with a 2.5 inch suspention lift?
Question By: Greg Avitia on Oct 6 2018 7:32 PM
This suspension parts we sell in this kit will get you back to the stock suspension. So it will work if that's what you're looking to do. Thanks

Questions: i have a 1952 M38A1 that the previous owner modified to a 350 sbc with a th350 transmission and Warn Overdrive. The front end has 10 leafs and the back 9 leafs. I am runnin 33" tires and i think it has a 2.5" lift can I replace the suspension using your kit? Also because of the gearing, I would like to go with 35" tires. will this work?
Question By: suspention on Sep 8 2018 6:13 PM
35" tires are pretty tall but I think you will clear. The problem you may run into with tires that size is rubbing on the frame rail on your turn radius with out wheel spacers.

Questions: I want to take my 1954 M38A1 and flip the Leaf Springs from the bottom to the top to give the Jeep a lift of 3 or 4 inches (Guess). If i want to do this, will i run into any other issues that i should be concerned with. Usually with these kind of alterations, there is something i wish i had know before that would have changed my mind. Thanks for any thoughts you have.
Question By: Neil Netoskie on Apr 20 2017 3:13 PM
You will have driveline issues and steering issues. Both will have heavily modified due to the lift. I honestly don't recommend it due to narrow wheel base and combination of high center of gravity.

Questions: Our 1954 M38A1 has 12 front and 13 back springs? Is this original? What should it have? They need to be replaced.
Question By: Anonymous on Aug 18 2014 12:00 AM
That is right. The kits we sell now will have 10 in the front and 9 in the rear for a bettter ride.
