Just screw onto your spark plug and then into your cable. Then your timing gun will pick up it up. It creates a gap that has no shielding like the military cables did.

Questions: I HAVE A 53 WILLIS ARMY M38A1 WITH THE 24 VOLT ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. WILL YOUR NEW TIMING ADAPTER WORK ON 24 VOLT AND DO YOU HAVE A 24VOLT TIMING LIGHT? OR WILL A 12 VOLT TIMING LIGHT WORK WHEN USING YOUR ADAPTER?

This is made specifically for the 24 volt system. I do believe your timing light will work just fine.

JUST HOOK UP TIMING LIGHT TO ONE BATTERY ONLY 12VOLT
