The brake shoes I got from you all have the same length of brake liner. I am used to seeing one shoe's liner being longer than the other. Is it OK to use two identical liners in the same brake drum?

Yes, this version of brake shoe doesn't have a primary/secondary set up style.

I have this set. Everything fits a should. Except, while assembly, and inserting the shoe cross bar, I cannot attachthe emerged.brake assembly

I would make sure your eccentrics are properly adjusted and see how your lever is pushing the shows.

Is this for the front or rear? Where do the primary shoes go?

They used the same brakes front and rear. Typically the primary goes towards front.

The brake shoe description for my 1948 Jeepster says primary & secondary brake shoes. What does this mean?

That is the one with the longer lining on the shoe itself.

I have a 1949 Willy's overland wagon with a flathead 6. I am having trouble finding brake shoes. The inside diameter of the drum is 10. It is hard for me to tell if item #804981 is the right set. Can you confirm this.They look very similar.

They typically used these brakes on Jeepsters and 2x4 Willys Station Wagons. These will be the correct ones for you.
