Unsure of your Carter number? They are stamped directly into the metal bowl. Check on the middle body for a vertical tag next to the metal accelerator linkage.

I need a rebuild kit for a Carter yf Carburetor. The number stamped on the base is 1-630. I can't seem to find the kit for that number. I have a 1950 willys jeepster. F4-134 engine. Appreciate any help. Thank you

The number stamped on my Carter YF is 1538. Is this the correct rebuild kit for my Carburetor. My 51 Jeepster has the 4-134 F engine.

Look where the linkage runs up the side of your carburetor. On the middle bowl there is a metal tab built into the side of it. There are some numbers running vertically. Those are your ID numbers for your YF.

I have a 1968 cj5 with the Buick v6 225 in it, and it has a GM 2 jet Rochester carb in it. I can find the rebuild kit online but I would rather order my stuff from you guys. Do you carry the rebuild kit?

I have a 1957 Willys Truck with the L6-226 Engine. I cleaned off the carb and 1) it is remanufactured and 2) the only number I can find is on the bottom of the bowl 1091. It does say it is a Carter YF. Does this carb kit work? Thanks.

I have a 55 truck with a 226, from what I can tell the carb is a yf2100s. I can only assume it's a replacement. Do you know if this kit will work for it? From what I can tell, everything else looks identical, but I don't know what or if there are any small differences, thanks

I just bought your carter repair kit for my cj5. I do not understand the float adjustment instructions my float is set at 3/4 inch instructions say 5/16 ? How could the float get to be this far out of adjustment ?
