My 1957 CJ5 has a cane style on the left-hand side. is this the correct cable?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, that is correct.

On cable item # 906750 I am looking for Grommet and clip at the T handle end cable connection

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Unfortunately, we do not list these items.

Do you know where I might find a T Handel cane and support?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Good used only. Email mike@kaiserwillys.com

Is the total length including the inner cable and ends? I am looking for a parking cable about 68" long total with about a 60" outer cable. For an FJ-3 (looks like this cable but the end with the ball has a C-shaped bracket instead like some other cables-I would switch this over).

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
63-5/8" is the overall length.

The part I received looks right except it has a hex nut on the wire instead of a ball. The hex nut is too big to fit in the stock parking brake lever. Is there something I need to do to adjust this? Or is it just a wrong part? I have a 66 CJ6.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The images should be exactly what you got from us. If you can email mike@kaiserwillys.com some pictures of your old cable so we can see it and help.

Do you have the spring clip that holds the Cable to the t handle?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
That is a local hardware store item.

How do I get the old cable out of the T-handle tube? Thanks

Jon Palm:
Release the ratchet clip inside the handle to allow the shaft to move down to the point where you can twist it revealing the "socket and ball".
Willys Tech:
There is just a spring clip that holds it in place.
