I purchased the Pcv and just received it. However, it appears that the new Pcv has different thread size/pitch that my original one. Are there different options? I have 48 CJ2a, L-134. Thanks

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
No, they are all the same male and female threads.

Where is this specifically located on the vehicle? Thanks!

Willys Jeep Tech.:
Typically off the valve side cover.

does the valve go in a vertical position or lay on its side

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Not sure of your question. Give us a call and we can help you. It also depends on the motor.

How do you know if it needs replaced?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
That can be a bit tricky to 100% know. Typically if it looks corroded then i would replace for sure.

If your pvc valve rattles when you shake it do I need to replace it for 53 cj3b

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Some do rattle depending on design.

Do you have any big boy sizes? 3x or 4x?

Wilys Tech:
Sorry XXL is currently as large as we have.

Looks like this may be the part I am searching for. It will go on a 1939 Packard. The part on the car now has an AS Delco PN 154397 Do you have a cross reference or do you have the length & thread sizes? Much appreciated !!

Willys Tech:
Im sure it would work with an adapter fitting for you that you could get locally.

Is it spring loaded or just restricted air flow the one I have had no spring thanks

Willys Tech:
These do have a small internal spring. There are different designs however and I have seen the other style too.

Does this have any internal parts or is it just a fixed restriction?

Willys Tech:
It is a fixed restriction.

Will this cure the condensation inside the dipstick tube?

Willys Tech:
It should help for sure. These help ventilation.

How do I install this part?

Willys Tech:
It just screws in to your intake manifold or lines in.

Where does it go?

Willys Tech:
This typically screws right into the intake manifold but can go anywhere inline with the breather.

Does this have the spring loaded valve part inside ?

Willys Tech:
Yes that is correct.

What Does this do?

Willys Tech:
It is a primative emission control.
