Purchased this pcv valve for my 49 Jeepster L134 4 cyl, but it is shorter than the old one, and not sure if it's the right part. The old one is AC CV697C. Is it the right part?

I purchased the Pcv and just received it. However, it appears that the new Pcv has different thread size/pitch that my original one. Are there different options? I have 48 CJ2a, L-134. Thanks

How do you know if it needs replaced?

That can be a bit tricky to 100% know. Typically if it looks corroded then i would replace for sure.

If your pvc valve rattles when you shake it do I need to replace it for 53 cj3b

Looks like this may be the part I am searching for. It will go on a 1939 Packard. The part on the car now has an AS Delco PN 154397 Do you have a cross reference or do you have the length & thread sizes? Much appreciated !!
