My dads jeep is back on the road after sitting for 35 years in his garage. The brake pads on the 1946 cj-2a were just installed by his mechanic friend. The pedal( very stiff) has 3/4" of travel down before the brakes apply. After 20 minutes of city driving, the brake lights stay on and the brakes stick. The mechanic said the drums were very tight and hard to get back on. My dad bought the pads from your company. Should he just keep driving it on short trips to wear the pads down or is there another adjustment that I can perform for him as his mechanic" buddy" lives a fair distance away. I appreciate any advice you can give me as my dad is 82 and I haven't seen him smile as much as when he's driving his Willy's !

Make sure to set your pedal at 1" of free pedal and I would try to rebleed as well as readjust your eccentrics too.
