I pulled starter out of my 1952 m38a1 and no readable tag but number on collar was PS360. What do is need to order as replacements?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Ok so sounds like your 12 volt. Please call us toll free. We can fix you up. Or email mike@kaiserwillys.com

Hello I just purchased this beautiful starter and got it installed tonight and can't get it to turn over. Is there a warranty on the item? Thanks -Erick

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
I can help you out. Give me a call toll free at 888.648.4923 and we'll see what's going on. Thanks

How do I check the starter motor number? Thanks

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
There is an oval tag or if its missing there is a number stamped in the head or collar of the starter. Alot of times they will start will letter P.

I have a 1952 M38 converting to 12 volt. Sure would be nice to have the floor function starter, I know I can't have the mechanical function but do people often use a floor electrical switch? I assume you will still turn the key "on" then depress the floor electrical switch to engage starter. If so please advise part number for that switch. thanks

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
With this starter you can wire in part number A7225 still for the floor start thru your ignition switch.

Does part have warranty?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, we will warranty out over a year. We are always here to help.

How many teeth dose the starter have on it ?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
9 tooth.

Does this starter use an external solenoid?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
No, these have a internal solenoid.

I have a 1952 M38 Fhead converted to 12 Volt with foot push starter. Is this the starter I need to replace the old 24 volt starter with bendix that went out. Will this starter hookup in the same bolt pattern. If not Please let me know which 1 I need.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, this is the proper one for 12 volt for your M38 and will bolt up too. Please see wiring instructions above on key start.
