I have a 70 cj5 with the 225. I just ordered a tank (#912008) and sending unit (#914850). Where does the small return fitting on the pump go to? I don't see any place on the tank or sending unit. Thank you for your help.

Where did the return line on the 67 go to? Back to fuel tank? I am helping my friend restore one and he called me and on test fire said smaller fitting on fuel pump was puking out fuel?

Is the only difference between this fuel pump and the one for the 66 CJ-5 V6 the presence of the return line (the 66 has one inlet for fuel and the exit to the carb--this for 67 has an inlet for the fuel and a smaller diameter outlet for the vapors/excess, as well as the exit to carb).
