You say it comes with cable atatched is this thecable that goes through bulkhead and joins on to thermostat that screws into engine head.

How can I test the proper function of the 24 V temp. gauge and the temp. sending unit out of vehicle? Have no indication but the cables are ok. Thanks 4 help.

An ohms reader should be able to test the fuel gauge in the tank. A local automotive electrician should have the equipment.
