Since these have a chrome ring will a OEM lens and stainless trim fit the housing?

Does the chrome ring come off once you remove the screw to access the tail light? I've removed the screw but the ring does not seem to want to come off. Thanks!

Yes, they are just lipped on there tight.

How do you switch it to 6volt?

You can just swap out the bulb and you are all set.
