Goes on backside of cowl side panel to the inside where "Jeep" is stamped on civilian vehicles.
Runs from floor board up the inner cowl to lower windshield hinge. The military M38A1 takes the same reinforcement as the civilian CJ-5.
Measures 26-3/4" total length
