Will these leaf springs accept the threaded u-shackles?

Yes they will.

Does it come with all the needed parts to replace. New leaf bolts and plates?

This is just the leaf springs. It has the leaves, the bolts holding the leaves together. Bushings, bolts and shackles are sold separately.

Hi Mark, my 1956 cj5 currently runs 7 leafs in the front and 13 leafs in the rear. i am restoring it and will not plow, move heavy equipment or go heavy off-roading. If I read all your answers, would you recommend to go for 7 in the front and 5 in the rear? If so, will the angle to the axle change? Thank you in advance.

Hi, Been trying to figure out my jeep, 1967 CJ-5 with V-6 I have 10 leaf on the front looks org.? but rear looks like it had a 5 leaf the 5th leaf is flat and someone added more leafs diff.thickness total 9. I do plow with it what would you recommend ? Dave

How wide are the springs? My CJ-5 has 1-3/4 wide springs

i just got an old jeep frame no tags or identification, it has the leaf springs still attached to it there are 5 in the rear and 10 in the front i measured eye to eye (center of bolt to center of bolt) the front measures 38-3/4" and the rear measures 44-1/2" can you tell me what it is?

These 5 leafs are for the rear, do you have any for the front? Would you put 7 leafs in the front and 5 leaf in the back?

Yes that is correct. We usually run 5 in the rear and 7 in the front.

Which leaf spring rides better the 9 or 5 leaf?

I would go with the 5.
