I see it fits on a M38a1, is it supposed to thread into where the plugs are on the shift tower? in place of part 32 on your T90 Diagram?

This only works if you have the later threaded style port at the rear of your shift rail on the top shifter.

Only with the top shifters that have a threaded port where the shift rail is. Typically not till later T90's.
