Hello, I have a 1942 Jeep Willys, is this part compatible?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You would be looking at 915762 for that vehicle.

Does this have the hole drilled in the pivot shaft for a cotter pin?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
This uses a huglock style nut.

I have a 1968 CJ5. Steering was modified to makeshift power by previous owner. I have acquired the correct TL Ross gear box and want to return it to stock. I believe I need the draglink, pitman arm, tie rods, gearbox rebuild kit, bellcrank and this repair kit to mount it. Is this what mounts the bellcrank to the frame near the radiator core support area? I have found only a single hole in that area. This goes through the hole to be a pivot point for the bellcrank?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Send us a photo of what all is going on so we can see and help.

I AM INSTALLING A BRAND NEW BELL CRANK. THERE ARE NO INTERNALS. IS THIS KIT COMPLETE. IS THERE A BUSHING WITH THIS KIT THAT I AM NOT SEEING?

Willys Tech:
This is the complete bellcrank repair kit with bushings. This will be everything you need.

I have a 197 Cj-5 jeep with a stock 134 engine. Without taking apart and measuring the bellcrank bolt ,will this kit fit my Jeep or do I nee the 1 1/8 kit?

Willys Tech:
You always want to measure if your in the 1970's. Typically after 1968 your are the later 1-1/8 and 1967 and prior you are the 7/8.

I have early CJ2A with bell crank ball that bends down. If I buy the bell crank with ball that bends up and your new drag link, can I turn down this shaft to 3/4 in. dia. to fit into the old bell crank bracket welded on the frame? Will the new bell crank fit with the rest of the steering linkage up front(tie rod ends etc)?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
I think you will have to reweld the bracket and modify it to work. Ive not tried this personally.

I have a 1961 CJ-5, this Kit works for my jeep?, and do you have shipments to Mexico?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, this is the proper one. We ship daily UPS and USPS international.

I have a willy jeep with the title saying it is a 1948 CJ3A serial number 61910. Which of the bellcrank repair kits will work on this jeep?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, as long as you are the 7/8" shaft and the ball on you bellcrank bends up.

I have an original 1959 CJ-6, 4 cylinder F engine. Will parts listed for CJ-5 in the 1959 date range, work for my vehicle?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, this will be the correct kit for that application. Thanks

1952 Jeep m38. Took apart bellcrank and I pulled out 2 dust seals and bearings out. Where does the bushing go then?

Willys Tech:
The dust seals go on the top and bottom of the bearings to keep debris out.

Does this Steering Bellcrank Repair kit (920556) come with the 2 1/4 pivot shaft clamping screw and nut

Willys Tech:
It will have everything shown in the photo.

Does that shaft fit my cj2a 1946... Thank s, Luc

Willys Tech:
Yes as long as the ball on your steering bellcrank points up. If it points down then you need part number: 915762

I have a 1947 CJ-2A willys, does this bellcrank repair kit fit's my willys

Willys Tech:
Yes as long as you have a 7/8 shaft. They also used part number: 915762 that used a 3/4 shaft.

I have a 1960 cj3b. The last owner had jacked the jeep up and jury rigged a pillar to accommodate the job. I found a bell crank bracket, but it has a 3/4 shaft with a drift pin. Will this work on my vehicle, and which bell crank do I need if it is workable?

Willys Tech:
The 3/4 shaft was only used on early 1941-46 MB, GPW, CJ-2A. You want a 7/8 shaft. Try part numbers: 647008 & 920556 will be correct for the CJ-3B.

Dose the rubber dust seal come with part N. 920556? or have to order sepert for 7/8 bolt ? Thank you Bill

Willys Tech:
Yes it does come complete in the kit.
