I got this c1600 top bow rod kit for my 1951 m38. After waiting 8 weeks I finally got the top. The long bars in this kit that attach to the windshield and top bows are about 4 or so inches too long. they won't even come close to attaching to the top bow. Am I missing something or are these the wrong ones?
