New Pick Up Bed Rail Caps with "W" Logo in plastic

Keep the wasps, bugs and dirt out of your Willys Truck bed tubes with these handmade pewter plugs.
Due to variations in tube size, some hand fitting may be required. A snug fit is desired.
Push piece in by hand or tap in with a rubber mallet, plastic is relatively soft and easily damaged; make sure logo is in correct position before setting.
An adhesive is recommended for a more permament install on both plastic and pewter plugs. Quick set epoxy, silicone caulk, Gorilla glue or whatever suits your application.
Do not use glue if using as a tempory plug.
Comes primed and ready to paint to the color of your choice.

Questions & Answers
Are the bed rail caps blue as pictured or do they come in black ? Is it likely that moisture will get into the bed rails or tailgate upper tube/rail with either the plastic or pewter caps ? We live in Hawaii and rust is a major concern. Do you have any ideas what could be put into the rails before the caps to prevent or limit rust buildup?
They are plastic and a paintable blue color. You should be able to use an anti rust on the rail and then a rustoleum paint.
