Is the old floor cut out and the new panel welded into the open space or does the new panel go over the old floor? I am guessing the old metal is cut out, if so can this be done without removing the tub from the frame? Thank you

Willys Tech:
The M38A1 panels are different from the M38. The ones for the M38A1 are part number: SHTMTL-54L & SHTMTL-54R

I was wondering how far the replacement floor pans for a 46 CJ-2a wrap up the center hump? Mine has some cancer about 1 1/2 up the hump and I want to know if this is going to work for it. Also how thick is the sheet metal? Thanks for your help.

Willys Tech:
It goes up the hump about 1-1/2. It should work ok. It is orignal gauge thickness.
