Questions: Does this horn brush require removal of brass so the cover will sit down on the outer tube? I have replaced the horn contact bushing and horn button repair kit. Even though the hex on the brass is fully inserted into the plastic insulator, there is about 1/8 gap before the cover will sit down on the outer tube.
