How do you easily adapt from 12 to 6 volt bulbs? Do you have different sockets? A 6 volt bulb doesn’t turn in a 12 volt socket, the side pegs are in different positions.

You can get 6 and 12 volt bulb with different locking tab locations. Those tabs are not standardized by voltage. You can replace the bulb to a 6V if that is what you have, no problem.

Are you sure this is 3-3/4" according to my understanding (2-1/4" center to center mounting studs ), this is a typo. Should be 2-3/4". Thanks.
