Questions & Answers
My customer has a 57 willys truck with the 226 hurricane engine and currently has the oe 6 volt inertia starter (has been converted to a 12v battery) and it sometimes doesn't engage properly, to which I told him that the starter will eventually quit, working at 2x voltage. Anyway I saw your ND gear reduction starter and told him this is the best upgrade you could get. My question, he wants to be assured this will fit his truck. Part # from your site is the #916461-12v, is this the correct #?(second question). Thanks again, he's gotten quite a lot of parts from you guys (larry).

I ordered this starter for my willys 6-226 super hurricane with 130 tooth fly wheel and its not making contact with the fly wheel. It seems the bendix isn’t coming out for enough. Can you answer me on what I need to do. I paid a lot of money for this and it’s not working like it should.
