do you sell original lug bolts with extended lenght i am using wheel adaptors

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
We do for right hand only. See part number 5353025.

if you removed the hub to turn the front drum on a 1971 cj5 with ten inch self adjusting do you need to remove studs from drum and replace original studs with new or can you reassemble hub back on over original stud using the wheel nuts holding hub and drum together

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You shouldn't HAVE to replace the studs. Only time you should need to replace them is if you ever remove them from the hub/drum or they are damaged.

What is the length of these studs?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Overall length: 1.362 in

Would you recommend using these studs with being pressed only through the wheel hub? Im looking at doing a disc conversion on all 4 corners, and dumping the drums all together. I wouldnt think the extra length without having the drum would be a huge deal!

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Our disc kits dont use the original studs. If you can email mike@kaiserwillys.com alittle more vehicle informatoin and what all you are trying to do. Happy to help. Thanks!

With new brake drums I bought new lug bolts, are their different lug bolts diameter . I was trying to press in the new lug bolts in the drums and hub on my 42 Willy’s mb and the drum broke. Is their a smaller size lug bolt? Now need another drum don’t want to brake another.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
These are the original size. You have to use a hydraulic press and give it plenty of backing. Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com or call and ask for MIke M. Happy to help. Thanks!

DO THE LEFT HANDED THREADS FOR THE REAR HUBS GO ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OR DRIVERS SIDE. THANKS

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Typically i believe they go on the rear passenger side but will check the book.

What is the knurl diameter of A474 stud?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Approx .625

What is the overall length - 1-1/2”?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
1.362 in

If I'm doing the 11" upgrade on the rear where the hub is now behind the drum, are these studs still what I need?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Typically, yes they would be the same if the 11" brakes are off a Willys Truck or Station Wagon.

does right hand threads mean they tighten to the right or loosen to the right?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
RH thread is a righty tighty lefty loosy stud/nut. Basically standard thread.

What is the distance between the underside of the head and the end of the knurled part?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
7/8" for knurled part only

I am placing larger Tires with thicker Wheels on my 57 Willys Station Wagon. I need a Lug Stud 1/2 longer Threads than the A474 shown here. Does Kaiser Willys.com have that or can you direct me to where I can find that?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
If you need longer studs then your local NAPA should have them. If not please email mike@kaiserwillys.com and i can try to help.

How is the lug bolt installed for use on the spare tire holder? What size hole needs to be drilled and how is it put in to hold?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Your spare tire carrier should have them already installed on your Willys. Please call us toll free. We can try to help

Using drum 808770 on hub 649938, is A474 the right stud ? Thanks, Bill

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, that would be the right part.

Restoring a 48 CJ2A and getting rid of the directional rims. Using old hubs and new drums. Is this the correct studs to use?

Willys Tech:
Yes these are the original bolt to use.

is there anything keeping me from removing the LH bolts from the passanger hubs and replacing them with RH for uniformity... not looking for originality restore winner just a safe dive, thanks

Willys Tech:
Yes this is not problem to change out.
