Can I buy just the short shaft for the front axle on my cj5. The short stubby one that the hubs and wheel bearing go on? The inner axle shafts are good, just need the outers . How much are they? They look like the same thing on all the axles jeep used. Buddy of mine has a fc170, the inners are different but the outers look the same. Am I right?

Sorry we can only get the front axle shafts in complete assemblies. The CJ-5 uses part number: 909459 & 919460.

would this be an o.k. replacement for an rzeppa joint? Would I have to replace both sides or not? '53 wagon 4x4

Yes this is a direct replacement. You can replace just one side if you like.
