I bought this gauge and my fitting from the oil line to the back of the gauge does not fit. Is there an adapter for this?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The original line fits. You must have something unoriginal back there. You need your original hard line or if you need new we have it part number:A-1198-ST

How is the gauge back-lit? My current gauge has slits just below the face to allow light in for night operation.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
These are not originally back lit. They used a protruding dash light.

Can I get this oil presure guage with a chrome bezzel?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Sorry, it only comes in a black bezel.

Silly me! I bought this gauge w/o measuring the hole in the dash. It is 2 1/2' diameter. I had rather not cut another hole, unless I have to. Do you have any similar oil pressure gauges for my '61 C-3B? An ammeter, as well?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
If you have an 2.5" hose that is unoriginal in your vehicle. Please send mike@kaiserwillys.com a pic of your dash and I can take a look what all you have going on. Thanks!

I purchased one of these oil gauges and every line kit I've found doesn't fit the back of the gauge. What size fitting do I need?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
This is the union adapter that will work for you: A4436. Thanks!

Hi i have just purchased the speedo plus the other gauges for my CJ2A Jeep but the oil gauge does not have a sender unit otherwise how does the oil pressure register on the gauge? and the sender unit must be calibrated to the gauge. Regards PAT

Willys Tech:
The oil gauge is a pressure gauge and just lines into the block. Part numbers: A1198 & A-1198-ST.

I have this gauge and the original style oil pressure switch on my F head CJ5. I do. It see how I can connect the two parts. Do I need a different oil switch or sending unit?

Willys Tech:
You may need part number: A3557

All the gauges in my 1964 CJ3B are white face. I only need the oil and gas gauges. Could i get them white faces too?

Willys Tech:
They all were originally black face. Sounds like you have aftermarket gauges in there.

what's the diameter of this guage? Do they come as an electrical unit?

Willys Tech:
They are 2 gauges like original. These were all originally a mechanical gauge.

I have a 1962 Willys pickup. Will the amp and oil gauges work on my truck? And do you sell a sub panel for mounting them?

Willys Tech:
You would have to drill holes in your dash if you have a Willys Truck to make these work but yes they should function properly.

I have a 63 CJ5, my oil gauge quite working. I would like to keep my direct oil line pressure gauge, do you carry the replacement for it? also what pressure should my F-134 engine have?

Willys Tech:
We can help you convert over to a separate 2 round gauge if you like. Minimum safe oil pressure is 6 psi at idle and 20 psi at 2000 rpm.

Do you sale just the face ring for gauges.??

Willys Tech:
Sorry, you cant get them that way. This is a complete guage.

I was wondering what it would take to hook this into my 1961 cj5's oil system, and I was also wondering what could be causing my oil light not to work?

Willys Tech:
They never used this style on a CJ-5. You should have a oil sender to a dummy light in your cluster. Please call us toll free. We can help you.

What is a good oil pressure reading idleing on a 1948 Willys CJ2A with a L-134 motor? Thanks as Always, Harry

Willys Tech:
Minimum safe oil pressure at idle is 10psi. Normal gauge reading is 25psi.

Will this guage work on my 1963 CJ5 with a 12 volt system and do i need a different oil pressure switch than part # 938092?

Willys Tech:
Yes but you will have to drill your grill. This is a pressure gauge and doesnt require a separate switch.

i have a 1954 cj3b with a hurricane engine and I can not find a oil filter anywhere on the engine. Is this suposed to have a filter? And if yes is it a canister type filter? And where would it be installed?

Willys Tech:
They originally mounted in the front passenger side of the block. Alot of vehicles dont have them. They are a canister style filter. We do carry the complete kits.

Any reason this wouldn't work for a replacement gauge in a 71 cj5, it looks like a match for the stock gauge.

Willys Tech:
In 1971 the oil light was built into the speedometer cluster but for a separate gauge it would work fine.

will this fit 1952 m38 direck oil line

Willys Tech:
Maybe but you'll have to bend it.

Is the 647058 oil pressure gauge direct pressure or electric?

Willys Tech:
It is a pressure.

For a 6 volt to 12 volt coversion on a 1949 Jeepster, do I need to get new dash gauges, or just replace the bulbs?........John

Willys Tech:
Just the fuel gauge needs to be changed over.
