Does the fuel gauge ground to the cluster housing the same as the original did? I can't get the new ones to read correctly

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, email us to help.

where does the jumper bar between the two gauges connect? Mine goes from the A terminal on the gas gauge to the S terminal on the temp gauge. However, on your diagram it goes from A on the gas gauge to A on the temp gauge. My bar isn't long enough for that? With just two screws on the temp gauge there is no A only an S and I? thanks

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
See part numbers: 914845 for wiring instructions.

What is the difference between Item # 8126919K and Item # 8126919KA ? I have a CJ-3B wich is the richt one ?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
They are the same. It is an interchange number.

What size are these gauges?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
These fit behind the face of the 914845 speedometer.

Item #8126919K On your web page, there are 3 photos, 1 showing the back terminal studs. The gauges appear to be encased in metal yet the other pictures appear as though they are in cardboard. Which is correct if ordered. I prefer the metal cased ones. I made a purchase from another supplier which when received was open meaning no metal backing. I returned them. Again, which do you carry?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
It can vary. Please call us toll free and we can check our current stock.

My temp gauge in a 1968 CJ-5 died so I got a kit to replace the fuel and temp gauges. They work backwards. I am not sure where the problem is as I followed the directions. Any idea on what is going on wrong?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
See part number: 914845 - there is a diagram on the wiring to confirm. Further - please email mike@kaiserwillys.com and I can help. Thanks!

I purchased the speedodemeter last year and I am now just getting around hooking it all up for my final on my build my guages have a symbol E, I hooked A to A gas gauge to full, Temp did not work, any guidence what I can do. Thank you

Will these work in the speedo cluster of a '57 FC?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, as long as you have the style where they are built into the cluster itself.

I just received Item #914850 sending unit and item #8126919 fuel gage. how does the three stud gage mount in speedo head where old two stud gage was and how do you wire it?

WIllys Jeep Parts Tech:
(+) is to power thru ignition (-) ground (s) is to sender in tank

Hello. Awhile back I ordered and recieved Part# 8126919K (for a 1961 CJ-5) I didn't use them. I have since accquired a 1961 Willys Sta. Wgn. It calls for kit # 8126919KA . Will the temp gauge work in my Sta.Wgn . ? Thank You

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, this is the proper part for you for the style gauge 914845A.

My kit didn't come with wiring schematic. Is this set kit set up for original factory wiring? Should the gauges be insulated with plastic washers?

WyoGreen:
The fuel gauge with this set has 3 connections. One is "I", which is the 12 volt input. The 2nd is "A", which hooks to the "A" terminal on the Temperature gauge. The 3rd one is S, which is the fuel sender connection. The fuel gauge has an internal voltage regulator, which regulates the 12 volt input to 5 volts for the fuel gauge and the temperature gauge. The temperature gauge also has an "S" terminal for connection to the temperature sensor. On older CJ5s, the round instrument gauge will need to be modified by drilling a hole to use these gauges, as the old fuel gauge only has 2 terminals.
Willys Tech:
Please see item number: 914845 for the wiring diagram. The gauge is marked on the back as well for wiring.

Does this work for 6 volt as well?

Willys Tech:
This is for 12 volt. Im sure you could drop it down though.

Hello, I have a 1964 CJ-5A. Are these replacements for the Stewart Warner gauges built inside the original 0-90 speedometer? and if so, how do you install these?

Willys Tech:
Yes, these are the replacement gauges for the original. They install from the backside.

I have a 1965 cj 5. 134 f head. Does these gauges fit in the 0 to 90 speedometer? I think the speedometer is original.

Willys Tech:
Yes that is correct. It is a replacement for the originals.

can i buy just the fuel guage?

Willys Tech:
We only have these in pairs.

Where can i find square gauges for 1954 pickup dash
