They should slot thru the hole. Email us a pic of your dash.

is there a special method to install the clips in the dash? do you bend the clip and then straighten in position?

The tab on the screw will lock it in place when you tighten.

Can I get just the clips?

Sorry, we can only get these in kits.

How do the clips get installed in the dash panel? Is there a special tool for that?

They just lock in place and you use a flat head screw driver.
