I would like to replace the oil pressure sender on my 1961 DJ-3A with an L-Head engine. It is using am electrical connection to the oil pressure gauge. What part number would I need to order for the pressure sender to replace it?

do i still need part #V12872 (gauge voltage reducer) even though voltage would not affect this sender? Or is the reducer to keep the actual gauges from being fried?

Will this work with a 6volt positive ground system? also, what size is the mounting end, pipe thread size? Thank you!

As long as you have a pressure style gauge it will vs. the style that just had a light in the speedometer.

Yes it should work just fine. The voltage really doesnt affect these.
