The notes state that the Early CJ-2A axle shafts with threads on the ends need to be cut down. My CJ-2A is a '47. Does this qualify as an early CJ-2A? I am very new at this and curious what kind of tool is used to cut it down?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
That would be a 2A. But i would pull the dust cap and see if your threaded or not. A lot of times people have later style axles and its not an issue.

Is it still possible to use the snap-ring on the end of my axle shaft (62 CJ3B) with these hubs?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You shouldn't need to.

What is the weight of this set please?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Maybe 2-3 pounds

I have a 46 CJ2A it states that the axel needs to be cut down in order for the hubs to fit. How do I cut that and to what length?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Alot of people will take just enough off the threaded end so you don't have a clearance issue.

My hubs do not have the Rugged Ridge Logo on them as the photo shows. Was I shipped Rugged Ridge or another brand? Thanks! ~P.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The way we get them in now is less the sticker. Same supplier though.

Where can I get replacement gaskets for this product

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:

We ordered this locking hub set for our CJ5 1967 States it will fit as it is a 10 spline hub the one that we received is 16 spline.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
These are 10 spline. Call us toll free and we can see what you ordered v. received and help out.

Do these also work on the disk brake conversion kits that you offer?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, this wouldnt effect it.

I purchased the locking hubs for my 1953 cj3b. Is there any sort of tech notes on how to install them? No instructions came with the hubs.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
They pretty much just bolt up. Email mike@kaiserwillys.com any specific questions. We are happy to help.

Hi, I have a 1953 CJ3B which does not have locking hubs on it at this time. Would these fit and basically just be a bolt on type job?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, that is correct.

Can the decal be removed?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
I would think you could. But will check.

I have a 1946 CJ2A with the stock flanges on the front but the threads have been completely removed back to the spline so, there is nothing to keep the axle (Bendix style) from moving in and out. Would a set of these work and keep the axles from moving in and out? If not how do I get this right?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com some pictures and we can see what all you got going on. Thanks!
