Comes complete with steel retaining plates, felt padding, and rubber seal. Seals backside of steering knuckle and allows pivot around housing ball without leaks. For all 4wd vehicles.

What is the oil capacity

You are supposed to fill to the fill plug on the side of the housing.

do I have to fill it with oil or grease?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
We use 90 weight gear oil.

Can the felt be split to avoid removing the knuckle?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, you cut it at the top. They are supposed to be installed from the back side. The fill level is not that high.
