My window mechanism has a threaded fitting. These knobs need to be re sized does that mean they are glued on?

My 58 willys jeep station wagon does not have any sliding door knobs/locks. I have seen another 58 with them. You only carry the knobs. Any idea how I can get 2 sliding window knobs complete ?
