I have the original horn off my Jeep, it appears complete and relatively undamaged, but it fails to sound. I have dismantled the horn, checked it, and tested it several times now, and sometimes it makes a *pop* sound as if it is trying to make a noise. I checked the connections and, depending on where I place the multimeter leads, I get either high resistance or low resistance, almost none at all. Do you know what's going on? Thanks!

The horns typically are always 'hot' meaning when you hit the button at the steering wheel it makes the ground connection and the horn makes noise. I would make sure this is not the issue.

This is an early style. You could also look at B035 too which will save you money. We have 12 volt versions of both too.

how are these horns wires using a relay? I've tried connecting directly to a battery and i don't get anything..

How can you tell the difference between a 6 volt and a 12 volt horn? Looking at them both in the pictures I can't see any difference. Thanks for your time.
