Your catalog lists this driveshaft for a CJ5 in addition to the models listed online. Which is correct? Is this a correct shaft for a 1964 CJ5? Please advise.

This is a different part now. It is only for MB and GPW. The CJ-5 has a different driveshaft.

This drive shaft arrived with a metal strip on the spicer joint, holding the two ends together (soldered on?). Is this supposed to stay there or be removed prior to installation? The original one doesn't have this same strip of metal.

The rear drive shaft currently installed is approximately 21-1/4 which drive shaft would be the better option. A1327 or 906932

Driveline length between 906932 and A1327 both say they fit my 1953 cj3a but measurements are approximately 2 and 1/4 difference , doesnt seem right to me
