Questions: I am looking at a Jeep pickup. Based on what you say in the questions on this page, it is a 1946-1948. (square instrument cluster, split window, long trim down middle of hood, "jeep truck" on hood, 9 slot grill, etc...) there isn't a VIN# on the firewall, or down by the drivers side seat. No engine# behind the water pump. The owner has a title for it but says it is a 1953. I'm afraid the title is not for this vehicle. Is there anywhere else (hidden) places I could find the VIN#? The truck is almost rust free and in great shape. I'd like to buy it but afraid of the VIN/title differences. Thanks, John Morris
