Dataplate-16 is what we usually use for a Willys Truck.

Hey, we don't actually put the numbers on the vin plate. You should be able to take the plate to a local trophy shop and have them engrave it there. Thanks

It is approx 3-9/16 x 1.5 and typically it's located on the dash or firewall but you can put it anywhere. Thanks!

Its probabaly missing. Because of the age of your vehicle you can usually apply for a new title at your local DMV.

Sit in the drivers side seat. Put your left arm down. The tool bin on the Willys Trucks usually has them. This is a replacement for it too so it will work just fine.

They did not make military jeeps in 1949. You probably have a CJ-3A. It will be on the passenger side of the firewall. Please call us toll free. We can help you ID your Willys.

Typically put your left arm down as your sitting in the drivers seat. It is right there by the tool bin. Also check by the glove box.
